DIN444 Eye Bolts
DIN 444 Eye Bolts combine a threaded shank with an integrated eye for articulated, tensioning, and adjustable mechanical connections. The eye provides a connection point for a pin, rod, wire, or other compatible component, while the threaded shank allows the position of the connection to be adjusted or tensioned. This combination makes the eye bolt useful where a fastening point also needs to accommodate movement or an adjustable pulling connection.
Available from M5 to M39, DIN 444 Eye Bolts cover applications ranging from compact mechanical linkages to larger tensioning and retaining arrangements. Depending on the design, the eye can serve as a pivoting point, linkage point, retaining point, or tensioning connection, providing a function that a conventional hex-head bolt cannot offer. DIN 444 is available in Forms A, B, and C, with different levels of machining around the eye. This allows the fastener configuration to be matched to the required connection and dimensional requirements. The products can be supplied in different materials and finishes according to the mechanical and environmental requirements of the assembly.

Specification:
DIN 444 specifications cover both the threaded shank and the machined eye, with the eye configuration being the main feature distinguishing the different forms. The nominal thread size determines the mating connection, while the eye dimensions determine the available opening and the geometry of the component attached through it. The standard covers M5–M39 and defines three forms. Form A corresponds to Product Grade C, Form B to Product Grade B, and Form C to Product Grade A. The difference is primarily related to the machining condition and dimensional accuracy of the eye, with Form C having the highest product grade.

DIN 444 Forms
Form A — Product Grade C
The basic configuration with the lowest level of machining around the eye, suitable for applications where the standard eye geometry meets the connection requirements.
Form B — Product Grade B
The most common choice for general-purpose DIN 444 applications, with additional machining around the eye for a more defined and accurately finished connection area.
Form C — Product Grade A
The highest product grade, with the eye machined around its circumference for applications requiring higher dimensional accuracy.
Dimension Chart of DIN444 Form B Eye Bolt:
The dimension chart below covers DIN 444 Form B Eye Bolts, including the main dimensions of the threaded shank and machined eye. The chart provides the information needed to match the eye bolt with the corresponding threaded connection and the pin or component passing through the eye. The range covers M5 to M39. In addition to nominal thread diameter and length, the eye dimensions are important when checking the available connection space, pin compatibility, and overall installation clearance.

Application of DIN444 Eye Bolts:
Tensioning and Tie-Rod Assemblies
DIN 444 Eye Bolts are widely suited to tie rods, tensioning mechanisms, adjustable supports, and linkage systems where the threaded shank allows the connection to be adjusted or tensioned. The eye provides a convenient connection point for rods, pins, wires, or other compatible components.
Articulated and Pivoting Connections
The eye head can accommodate a suitable pin or connecting element, making DIN 444 suitable for articulated joints, pivoting mechanisms, adjustable arms, and moving mechanical assemblies. The connection allows controlled movement between the connected components rather than creating a rigid fixed joint.
Machinery, Equipment and Fixtures
DIN 444 Eye Bolts can also be incorporated into industrial machinery, equipment frames, fixtures, brackets, guards, and fabricated assemblies where a threaded fastening point needs an integrated eye for attachment, retention, positioning, or adjustment.
